Tailored Training

Managing Workplace Psychological Risk
PeopleSense by Altius has pioneered customised proactive approaches, in alignment with legislative requirements, to enable organisations to identify, measure, monitor and evaluate the psychological wellbeing of their workplace. Establishing baseline data on workplace psychological wellbeing enables an organisation to develop an effective strategy to improve, and sustain, wellbeing into the future. We have demonstrated experience across an array of sectors in developing wellbeing guidelines, responding to process improvement notices, customising and carrying out surveys and implementing recommendations, where appropriate.
Change Management
There are two major kinds of organisational change a business may face - change imposed by circumstances and change that is planned and adopted to encourage growth and improvement. Mediation and Conflict Resolution Services
In any workplace, there’s potential for misunderstandings and when ignored these can lead to conflicts. Conflict drains peoples’ energy, impacts productivity and affects the ethos of an organisation. Conflict may arise when:
- Misunderstandings occur between a manager and employee.
- Employees working together strongly believe they are in the right and disagree about shared work.
- Poor behaviour, such as bullying, is taking place.
- Managers or employees fail to recognise there is a problem.
Mediation can be a productive means of managing two conflicting parties – a ‘peace making” process where the aim is for both parties in conflict to have a win-win result. At PeopleSense by Altius, mediation is separated into two components - a Mediation Assessment and a Mediation Intervention.
A Mediation Assessment involves:
- Meeting with each of the identified parties individually.
- Gathering relevant information.
- Identifying key themes related to the conflict.
- Determining the suitability of mediation intervention.
The Mediation Assessment is then followed by the actual Mediation Intervention which seeks to have a positive outcome for both parties and the organisation as a whole.

Team Values Alignment Process
The Values, or guiding principles, of an organisation sit alongside an organisation’s Vision and Mission/Purpose – to form the framework for work accomplishment. If an organisation’s values are not known or unclear, not understood or supported or shared - they run the risk of being made up, or driven by strong personalities. This can often lead to negative culture or limit organisational progress.
PeopleSense by Altius assists organisations to address this challenge by involving employees in a multi-layered Values Alignment Process. Our multi-layered approach, followed through consultation with organisations, enhances team effectiveness by assessing what motivates a team. The process involves:
- Developing an insight report.
- Facilitating a values alignment workshop.
- Developing a charter to align the team’s behaviours with organisational values.
