Rehabilitating people who have sustained injuries or illness to optimise productive participation in work and life
Our allied health professionals provide an innovative approach to the assessment, collaboration, planning and management of complex injuries for individuals, workplaces and insurers. Through programs tailored to individual needs and workplaces, we aim to achieve for our clients productive, meaningful and durable employment in the same or alternate role.
Our highly qualified psychologists apply their valuable experience to help injured individuals address barriers, both work-related or psycho-social, impacting on their return to work. Through one-on-one sessions, our psychologists adopt a client-centred approach drawing on evidence-based therapeutic strategies for positive return to work outcomes.
We offer free access to career transition support and allied health services for those in a transition phase, with a focus on helping persons with a disability, injury or health condition to obtain and maintain long-term employment.
We assist injured workers to develop important job seeking skills when they can no longer carry out their pre-injury job, or no longer have a position to return to. We focus on developing key competencies for successful job seeking and work with individuals to identify suitable roles for any ongoing restrictions they may have.
On occasions where functional or psychological limitation prevents a return to prior employment, our consultants combine their specialist experience with evidence based tools and methods to empower individuals to actively engage in activities that enhance their prospects and ultimately achieve safe, sustainable redeployment outcomes.
Our professional vocational assessments provide a solid foundation to help individuals navigate their future career or return to work direction. Through interviews and standardised assessments, we gather valuable information about an individual’s previous employment, education, achievements and interests - to analyse their aptitudes and abilities and establish their transferable skills.
Interviews and assessments are conducted by our experienced psychologists and rehabilitation counsellors, who value building rapport with clients to support them through challenging transitional periods.
Our specialists will also recommend re-training when deemed necessary to achieve an agreed goal. All our recommendations are realistic and supported by labour market research and we provide clear reports, tailored to the individual, covering all relevant issues ranging from legal to career recommendations.

In a contemplation phase of employment a client is highly ambivalent and not thinking about employment following injury or illness. Our vocational counselling focuses on transitioning clients through the contemplative phase to the preparation phase – where they have the mindset and skills to get things in place to seek employment.
