OccHealth by Altius Work Related Exercise Physiology – Recent Results

Each quarter the OccHealth by Altius team records the outcomes of participants with compensable physical and psychological injuries supported through our Work Related Exercise Physiology program – across a number of measures.

We’re pleased to share the positive results tracked over the longer and shorter term:

  • Our Exercise Physiology treatment services have achieved 93% upgraded work capacity with 63% returning to pre-injury duties, since 2016. Data also showed that 76% of participants not working at the time of referral, achieved a return to work with either the same or different employer.
  • Last quarter’s results indicated 95% of participants upgraded their capacity, with 56% upgrading to pre-injury duties.
  • For those participants referred 0-6 months post-injury, 100% upgraded their work capacity, with 82% returning to pre-injury duties, highlighting the importance of early intervention.
