Our occupational rehab provider is seeking a motivated and experienced Business Support Officer to join our welcoming and friendly team in
Carlton. As a key member of our business support team, you will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support to our team of Directors, Divisional Directors, Team Leaders and their direct reports, including the development and maintenance of our internal processes and systems.
Responsibilities: - Support the daily operations of our business
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including Worksafe and insurance agencies
- Develop and maintain our internal processes and systems to ensure smooth operations
- Preparing and reviewing presentations, documents and reports
- Coordinate and manage client data and case files
- Manage reception, and incoming calls and emails
- Ensure all client enquiries are answered in a professional and timely manner
- Support the development and implementation of strategies and initiatives
- Assist with financial management tasks such as invoicing and billing, and conciliation of accounts
- Provide general administrative support to the team
- Minute taking and responsibility for actions
- Manage competing priorities whilst delivering high quality support
- Working autonomously, often managing highly confidential information
- Manipulation of excel spreadsheets
- Adhoc duties as required
Requirements: - 2+ years of experience in a similar administrative or operational role
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy, and a commitment to client confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in the healthcare or occupational rehabilitation industry is preferred, but not essential
